KEPCO has finished ‘Spring of Jangchung’ for two consecutive seasons! Beat Woori Card 3-1 and advance to PO!

It is a reenactment of last season.

On the 22nd, in the ‘2022-23 season Dodram V-League’ men’s semi-playoff (PO) held at Jangchung Gymnasium, KEPCO beat Woori Card with a set score of 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 25 -22) and won a ticket to the PO.

Woori Card started Agamez, Park Jun-hyeok, Na Gyeong-bok, Song Hee-chae, Oh Jae-seong, Lee Sang-hyun, and Hwang Seung-bin as starters on this day. For KEPCO, Seo Jae-deok, Lim Seong-jin, Cho Geun-ho, Shin Young-seok, Thais, Ha Seung-woo, and Lee Ji-seok came out.

With this victory, KEPCO turned Woori Card 3-1 for two consecutive seasons and obtained the right to advance to PO. The next opponent is Hyundai Capital, who is in second place in the regular league, waiting in Cheonan. Against Hyundai Capital this season, the opponent record is 4 wins and 2 losses, and KEPCO has a bit more advantage. There is plenty of hope to aim for a ticket to the championship match.

Seo Jae-deok’s attack opened the door to the game with KEPCO leading by 2 points. Agamez countered with a avant-garde, and Tais immediately counterattacked with a back attack, fighting tight from the start. The rally did not last long. Attacking the opponent’s court with a fierce attack, they quickly scored each other.

Cho Geun-ho succeeded in blocking and the score widened to 4 points. However, Agamez tried to catch up with the first serve ace for two consecutive times.

However, Thais’ streak of points could not be shaken. To make matters worse, Agamez’s net crime was very painful. KEPCO, which quickly spread the score, took the first set 25-19 and caught fire.

Woori Card tried to take the lead with a small score difference in the early stages. However, Seo Jae-deok evaded Song Hee-chae’s defense and scored a precedent to tie the game. Here, the momentum passed to KEPCO again due to Woori Card’s double contact crime. It was painful to miss the ball in the game.

Woori Card’s defense faltered, and KEPCO took a 3-point lead again. In 13-10, Seo Jae-duk’s Super Digg stood out, and Thais’ rearguard drove a wedge. Agamez once again displayed his strength and followed closely behind. I couldn’t block Thais’ strong hit and Seo Jae-deok’s sub-ace. It was the crime room that caught the ankle decisively. Until the second set, KEPCO occupied 25-18. 메이저놀이터

However, in the 3rd set, KEPCO was suddenly blocked by the opponent’s blocking and suddenly fell behind. Agamez fired a serve ace and the atmosphere quickly turned to our card. The awakened Agamez scored consecutively in front and behind. Overlapping the opponent’s room, Woori Card counterattacked a set with a score of 25-18.

A dizzying situation occurred at the beginning of the fourth set. Na Gyeong-bok, who was reaching out for defense, tripped on the fallen Oh Jae-seong and fell and grabbed his ankle. I brushed it off and stood on the court again, but KEPCO took the lead with the atmosphere. Woori Card persistently tied with Agamez and Na Gyeong-bok. When the score exceeded 20 points, a bloody battle broke out with a room party.

This time, following Na Kyung-bok, Agamez collided in front of the net and covered his face and fell down. He got up to serve again, but could not score. In the last minute, KEPCO secured the right to advance to the PO by finishing the game 25-22 thanks to Thais blocking.

Meanwhile, the men’s PO 1st game will be held on the 25th (Fri) at 7:00 pm at Cheonan Yu Gwan-sun Gymnasium, the home stadium of Hyundai Capital, which ranks second in the regular league. The second game will be held in Suwon, the home stadium of KEPCO, and the third game will be held again in Cheonan. PO is played in a best-of-three format.
